City Green’s Parnter’s
City Green Farm continues to learn and grown through participating in lasting programs.
Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI)
City Greens was selected to participate in the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, one of the nation's leading organizations supporting clean technology and sustainability-focused entrepreneurs. Through LACI's accelerator and business incubation programs, we gained access to expert teachers, strategic business guidance, industry partnerships, and a network of innovators working to build a more sustainable future.
Simple ideas
The program helped us strengthen our business model, refine our growth strategy, and better position City Greens to expand the impact of urban agriculture and food education.
REV: Ithaca Startup Works
City Greens participated in both the hardware and entrepreneurship programs at Rev: Ithaca Startup Works, a startup incubator affiliated with Cornell University's innovation ecosystem. REV provides mentorship, business training, prototyping resources, and connections to industry experts and investors, with specialized tracks supporting AgTech and ClimateTech ventures. Through the program, we were able to further develop our hydroponic farming technology, advance our grow tube prototype, validate new concepts, and gain valuable feedback on product design, scalability, and commercialization. REV helped accelerate our transition from innovative ideas to practical solutions that can increase access to local food production and sustainability education.
Lasting impact
In working with the Advanced Prototyping Center, we were able to prototype our new and improved grow tubes and start the process of testing them in our current container farm.
